July???
I promised this would be an occasional newsletter, and I’m delivering! You certainly can’t complain that I show up in your inbox too often. Fortunately, I remembered I really needed to write this when my husband was asking if I wanted to get some work done outside.
Puzzles
The Daffodil puzzle by Tanigami Konan in the last newsletter was pretty popular and a nice challenge to cut, so I cut one of his orchid woodblock prints and created a smaller version of the Daffodil image. The orchid puzzle is ready to ship. Both versions of the Daffodil print are now listed on the website. (The black in the images is not part of the puzzle.) | ![]() Made to order. $200. 10 × 9” |

Ready to ship on the website. 252 pieces. $300. 9.5 × 13”
![]() | This sunflower with butterfly is color line cut with earlets. It’s 7” and has 97 pieces. Ready to ship. $80. Order on the website. |
I love this old image. On the surface, it’s two ladies drinking tea and chatting, but it’s the man in the background that really steals the scene. He’s trying to look like he isn’t paying attention, but if you look closely, you’ll notice shooting his eyes over and his pipe is upside down! Color line cut with hook and knob connectors. It’s 8.5” square and contains 136 pieces. $150. Ready to ship. Message me if you are interested. | ![]() |
![]() | This little book lover is hand painted on paper with watercolor and white ink and then laminated onto the wood. It’s 3.5”. 55 pieces. $60. Ships with no image. Message me if you are interested. |

Marbling is best done in batches because the supplies only last a few days once they are prepared. If you are interested, there is a video on my Instagram page of the pieces of wood available (though a few are already committed to someone.) Take a screenshot of what you want and message me with it.
Subscriptions
There are 2 spaces available for the summer subscription boxes if anyone is interested. That means I ship you a puzzle and a treat at the end of July, August and September. This is non-renewing, so you don’t have to remember to cancel (you just have to remember to renew). Here are some of the puzzles from the March, April and May subscriptions:

Puzzle Jam South
It will be here way too soon considering the things on my to do list. I hope to see you there. I designed the speed puzzle and Rebel Puzzles is going to produce it. I am so excited about it and all of the great articles people have written for Puzzle Pages. You can get your ticket here. Dates: Sept 5-7. Location: Greenville, SC. Hotel: Springhill Suites.
From the Garden
We aren’t going to discuss the state of my houseplants, but here’s our first tomato of the season. We’ve had a lot of rain, so they’re off to a slow start. It looks like we will have a bumper crop of canning pears and some figs. We canned a bunch of strawberry balsamic jam this spring and one batch of peach ginger butter. Now that it is 90+ degrees and humid every day, I will happily wait until fall to can anything else.
